Tim's surgery went well today. The doctor seems to think the infection was caused by a stich that didn't dissolve when he had his brain surgery. He cleaned out the infection and stitched him back up, but has sent a sample of the infection to the lab. The results should be back middle of next week and if it's an infection that's common, his body will fight it off. If it's more "exotic" then they will dose him up with antibiotics and hopefully clear it up so he doesn't have to remove the bone.
So for tonight, Tim's doctor actually said he could go home...but Tim is a little sick to his stomach and has a terrible headache. I was shocked but he decided to stay the night...I think so he could get morphine and get out of trick or treating (just kidding)! Happy Halloween everyone!!!!
