Woodman Family

It's been awhile since I last updated everyone on the latest and greatest in the Woodman household. The most important bit of news is that Tim went to his oncologist in Utah the beginning of October and wast told that HE IS IN REMISSION!!!! YEAH!!!! It's been a LONG year for our family, but we have gotten through it. Tim is still having quite a few headaches which is frustrating to him. The doctor is trying to get him completely off his steroids, but his system doesn't seem to want to give them up. When he cuts the dose, he gets migraines instead of his "normal" headaches. He is seeing some great pain management doctors at Huntsman, so hopefully they will be able to control them SOON! He has been home from work and is hoping to get back in the work world soon. It's a bit scary with this economy to be looking for a job, so if anyone knows of any banking/lending jobs, let us know. We have talked about relocation and would LOVE to get closer to family so anything in Utah or Arizona would be especially nice!

The boys are doing great. They are "off track" right now which means they get the whole month of October off from school. It has been good for them to spend time with Tim, since he is home with them during the day. They are both finishing up their Fall baseball season and are AWESOME players. Jake hit his 3rd home run tonight...the 1st two home runs were actually grand slams! All the coaches are already clammering to get him on their teams in the spring. Austin also hit a grand slam and was voted "most improved" by his coaches this year.

As for me, I just started my 2nd year of teaching Elementary School. I'm teaching 1st grade again this year and am on a team. It means I have a lot more students, but it is really nice to be with another teacher and have some time to breathe during the day. It's especially nice to be able to drive to work without dreading the day and without having a cell phone to my ear 24/7!!! Still love the time that Jake threw my cell phone in the toilet when he was 3 or 4 because he wanted me to stop talking on it. Now, he and Austin are the only ones that call me 50 times a day! There are many times during the day that I think to myself that it's amazing that I actually get paid to go to work! It's not the easiest job, but it's great to laugh and play games during my work day! Of course they are "educational" games. Amazing what you can call a game and that kids actually believe that learning is playing. I've also been keeping busy trying to do "no cost" improvements to the house. I'm keeping track of some of the things I do on another blog so check it out: http://home2luv.blogspot.com/

Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know we are happy and healthy. Hope all is well for you and your families in your corner of the world. Take care and keep in touch!
