Austin turned 8 yesterday. Wow, how time flies!!! We got up yesterday morning and spent some time looking through his scrapbook photos. I've only done the 1st six months of his life so LOT's of catching up to do. He was such a good little baby...and oh so cute! He had such beautiful dark hair and olive skin. He even commented yesterday that he thought he had brown skin when he was born. Then we came downstairs to have breakfast and set the timer to go off at exactly 11:24am....the time he was born. We had a little celebration and he "officially" turned 8 years old.
For his birthday party, we had an "army" themed party. I made an army tank cake with camo colored cake and frosting. We played fun "army" games. After the party, Austin said it was the best birthday ever! That makes all the work and CRAZINESS worth it to momma!
