Just wanted to put out an update on our family. Tim is doing amazingly in spite of the stroke. The stroke has actually been a blessing in disguise because he is not having headaches anymore. He is off on narcotics (morphine, percocet, etc) and has occasional mild headaches. He sees a speech therapist 1/week and is able to talk well...although he isn't where he wants to be! He struggles to find specifics words, but we ALL have that problem!
We went to Arizona a week ago and I was offered 2 different teaching jobs. I accepted a job at the brand spanking new Gilbert Legacy Traditional Academy teaching 1st grade: http://ltsgilbert.org/index.php. It very close to Jeff and Danielle (Williams Field/Recker) and we will most likely buy a house in the area. The other great thing is it's K-8 so the boys will be going to the same school as me! I start training on July 7th so we will be packing up and driving to Arizona the last week of June and move into a rental on July 1. I've been trying to sell the house on our own, but we've just decided to list it. Prices have really gone up and there is a shortage of homes on the market here...so good for us! We wanna get it GONE before we leave so everyone PRAY that is sells (for lot's of $$$$).
And the boys are in the swings of baseball. Their seasons end in June so they are excited the new school has competitive baseball, basketball, flag football, etc. They are excited to move and biggest request is to find a house with a pool.
We love you all and thanks for all the prayers our way. We truly feel the Lord has guided our decision to move to Az and look forward to being so close to family on both sides in Az....but will TRULY miss being so close to Charile & Cheryl's family.
